Captain Australia’s Crime Fighting Journal, Entry#37
Today I took three students into the bush and we conducted a stealth, infiltration, survival and close combat training exercise. I am continually frustrated by the poor quality of the video, I only hope you can get a sense of how the exercise went.
The conditions were that I was disadvantaged by having to protect the civilian camera-man, while passing through heavy bush. The other two had a 30 minute head-start to take ambush positions, and attempt to kill one or both of us.
Regrettably, my videographer was nervous, and forgot to turn the camera on and off (until I get a better camera we can’t keep it on all the time due to battery life limitations). So ultimately, we had to re-create some of the sequences after the fact, because they weren’t even filmed initially. I apologise again for the poor video, we didnt have the time to recapture our stalking through the bush, so we could only give you an overall impression.
