He made the commitment to his spouse, that he is not honouring. Your friend wasn't party to that promise. Although I don't approve of what she's done, technically it's not her doing the wrong thing. I'd suggest that the best thing you can do is be honest about your feelings and opinions, but also respect that your friend is entitled to their own opinions and feelings.
