An update from Captain Australia
Hello Citizens
Having been inactive for a long time, I just wanted to let you know that I’m still alive, and still believe deeply in the simple fact that we all, each of us, have an obligation to make the world a better place – to turn society from the road of apathy, terror, mindless consumerism, underlying rage..
I still believe that in my heart and my bones. Lately I’ve been especially troubled by our political leaders. With all the grace, finesse and honesty of a teenage shoplifter at Woolworths, they appear to be playing an evil game of misdirection and manipulation, something that disturbs me greatly. Powers behind the figureheads, in the media and industry, dress the stage and manipulate the players, and ultimately, as always, it’s innocent people in the public who wind up somehow being the victims.
I still believe that together, we can take the world to a place of respect, understanding and peace.
But .. my son .. it’s all about my boy. I cannot disclose too much, as it’s crucial that I protect my secret identity – but I have had a significant life change with regard to the care of my child, and it’s made me have to pull away from my Quest and commit all of my time and resources to him.
I’ve had to take time away from Captain Australia, and I don’t know when I’ll be back again. I’ve gotten involved with a home business, and really I’m just trying to maximise the time that I can have helping my son. It leaves very little room for changing the world.
I just want to share with you, the public .. please .. take up my Quest .. see my failure for what it is .. one man trying to do something impossible .. something that we can only achieve by working together.
If it sounds daunting .. just do this .. today .. tomorrow .. the next day .. do one kind thing. Smile when you might otherwise frown. Please find goodness in your fellow human beings.
It’s there, I swear it is. But the world has somehow become contaminated. Honesty, Fidelity, Moral correctness .. these things are almost jokes in the public eye.
Change that. Please .. do whatever you can.
